lymphatic drainage
treatment
-
Your lymphatic system helps move excess fluid and other substances through the body. Lymphatic drainage uses gentle, specific movements to support that natural process.
Because the lymphatic vessels are located close to the surface of the skin, this technique does not require deep or forceful pressure.
-
Very different from a traditional massage.
The pressure is light, slow, and rhythmic. Some people describe it as relaxing, calming, or almost surprisingly gentle.
It should not feel like deep-tissue work, and more pressure does not mean better lymphatic drainage.
-
Lymphatic drainage may help support:
Healthy lymphatic fluid movement
Temporary swelling or fluid retention
A feeling of heaviness or puffiness
Post-travel or prolonged-sitting fluid buildup
Relaxation and overall body comfort
A lighter, less congested feeling in the body
Results vary from person to person. Lymphatic drainage is not a weight-loss treatment, does not “melt fat,” and should not be confused with medical treatment for lymphedema or other medical conditions.
-
Everyone responds differently.
Some people notice changes in how their body feels during or shortly after a session, while others may notice changes gradually over multiple sessions.
That is one reason I use a three-session introductory approach. Rather than promising that everyone will experience the exact same result, I want to be able to follow up with you, see how your body is responding, and personalize each session based on what we observe together.
-
he three-session series is part of Healing Hands' introductory lymphatic drainage program. It is not because everyone medically needs three sessions.
I designed the series so I can provide more personalized care instead of simply giving you one session and sending you on your way.
During your three visits, I can:
Establish a starting point and learn how your body responds
Follow up on how you felt after the previous session
Adjust the approach based on your individual response
Look for changes over the course of the series
Help you determine whether ongoing lymphatic drainage makes sense for your goals
This gives us an opportunity to actually follow the process together rather than treating your session like a one-time appointment.
-

If you have persistent or unexplained swelling, a medical condition, recent surgery, an active infection, a history of blood clots, or another health concern, please speak with your healthcare provider before booking.

Taylor utilizes the Chikly Lymphatic Drainage Technique. She received Level 1 Certificate September 6, 2026 and plans to further her learning to Level 2 at the end of November 2026.
The Chikly Lymph Drainage Therapy approach emphasizes gentle, precise, rhythmic work rather than heavy pressure.
Because lymphatic vessels are close to the surface of the skin, lymphatic work is intentionally light. The goal is not to push harder—it is to work with the body's natural lymphatic pathways in a thoughtful, controlled way.
